I was reading the latest Rangefinder Magazine (free subscription to photographers here) and ran across an article about a father-son photography team in Spain.
I encourage you to go to their website (Expression International) to view their awesome photos.
They must be using a form of HDR (High Dynamic Range) techniques to get these images. I would like to create images like those but in spite of all the time I have spent using HDR techniques, I have not been able to duplicate what they have accomplished.
Here is an image I thought would be suitable for HDR.
I like the results but it does not measure up to their images. Looks like I have some more learning to do.

Tom mentioned we would need to sit down and talk photography. Maybe we can talk our own version of Geek talk that challenges his understanding. He did fear that our conversation could get expensive for him….
